So Alyssa came with me to the YMCA and took some pictures. We didn't get many good ones. And it was rather odd to be taking pictures of me "working out". But thank you Alyssa for putting up with the embarrassment of that!

me- "what do i do?"
alyssa- "jump, silly!"
me- "what if i break my arms?"

I just decided to add a picture of them :)

#36- Watch a TV show I’ve never watched

So I watched.. Teen Mom. I don't have much to say about it, really.. but, it's amazing how many TV shows can be formed off of people's problems! haha

Well, this was interesting and long! haha... there are a lot more isles than I thought there were.. some were very interesting and I found things i never knew walmart had! But lots of them were boring isles as well.. It was a good experience though!

#46- Bake a new recipe

We were sitting around the dinner table and the family was talking about how nice the people are at the Owens Grocery store. Mom told us that when she was buying canned pumpkin the lady at the cash register said she makes brownies with canned pumpkin and it makes them extra moist.. so that just had to be my recipe! They aren't like I expected they would be... but they taste all right!

#1- Watch Beauty & the Beast, Lion King 2, & Pirates of the Caribbean.

Beauty and the Beast

I guess I don't have much to write about it. Thank you to the Kissells for letting my borrow it! It was a cute movie.. I enjoyed the love story. It probably would have scared me to watch when I was little so, yay for not watching it til now? haha.

Lion King 2

I enjoyed Lion King 2 much much more than Beauty and the Beast :)

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

‎#32- Make a PB&J with my eyes closed

my eyes ARE closed. haha

facebook videos below:

#30- Write about my life in less than 100 words

This was harder than I thought... 100 words is not much info at all!

I was born in January to my wonderful parents Jim & Linda Burd. Later I was blessed with a younger brother, Jonathan, and younger sister, Lilie. I was homeschooled all except my third grade year. I’ve been involved in many activities in the homeschool group and my church. I love to sing, and photography is a huge passion of mine. Babysitting is a hobby of mine also. I enjoy taking on new challenges and learning new things, making new friends, and going new places. I go to Huntington Beauty College where I will graduate with a Cosmetology Degree next year.

#39- Eat a Big Mac

Be shocked if you want! But I had never eaten a Big Mac 'til now...
It was good, yes! I ate it all! Thaaaaats pretty much all I gotta say :)

#42-Wear a pair of glasses all day

Well one thing I have learned in this.. I am SO glad I don't have to wear glasses. The ones I have been wearing all day don't even have a prescription lens in them and my head aches! But still... I continue to wear them. Not many people have commented. I guess people just think I wear glasses sometimes.. haha. Riley Gaunt looked pretty cute when she tried them on.. sorry I don't have a picture of her in them. Another reason im glad I don't wear glasses is it is very hard to get a picture without a glasses glare!

#3- Wear my hair in pigtails with red lipstick to school

This was very fun! I will say I got some crazy looks.. and questions. But, it was a great conversation starter for sure! Going into Huntington Beauty College and doing haircuts and things, it was fun to explain to my clients what I was doing and why.. it made for a lot to talk about! It was also very exciting to go into school and have people know it was the start on my challenge... the first moment I walked in, Anna Bartrom yelled, "50 things!". Jordin Saalfrank joined me with the lipstick! It was a wonderful first day :)
